woah, it's a twisted wonderland picture O: ... I'm going to show this to my friend who plays. Leona is one of her favourites. and ..... is that silver? I know all their names because of her fevered ranting but I still haven't seen enough for the faces to sink in yet. (She'll probably have already seen this pic but whatevs)

I am reccomending Golden Kamuy! The manga is perfect and the anime does a good adaption but has some 3-D stuff which might put people off. And the japanese live action is SO GOOD and the casting is brilliant. Has a lot of .... hot dudes. And food. A lot of food. And a plot, but who cares about plot, right?

Also, GK is the series that summoned me to get back into Colors ... when they released freaking SEVENTEEN decks of it all at once.

let's see, I recently read the book Nettle & Bone and it was really good! playing on fairy tale tropes without being a direct adaptation of any fairy tale, the characters were great, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

My new shill that I'm trying to force everyone to get into is The Elusive Samurai. The manga is ongoing and Season 1 of the anime just wrapped up, it was done by Cloverworks and was beautiful! It's the third series by my favorite mangaka, Matsui Yuusei.
Other series I think everyone should give an honest shot: Mairimashita Iruma-kun, and Dorohedoro! Dorohedoro is very violent and icky though even though the vibes are good, so if you don't like gory stuff beware!

ik i posted this before on last month's pot of gold, but now that i've caught up with it... interstitial actual play podcast using the ttrpg interstitial: our hearts intertwined. it's a kingdom hearts inspired game where the players are all characters of different media and you go on different worlds and stuff and it's amazing. there are four seasons, each with a different concept and story. all of them amazing with only one person (the creator) who has been in every season. funniest podcast ive ever heard and i love every character to death. perfection 11/10

Idk if you like audio horror, but I am dying for more people to check out The White Vault! It starts out being about a repair team sent to a remote outpost in Svalbard, Norway, only to get trapped in a Totally Not Paranormal Snowstorm.. and branches into a much bigger, scarier mystery. Its such a cool premise for a horror story, and the characters are really fun too!

Hmm there so many things I could or would reccomend, but it also depends on how dark or themeatic you want to go (a lot of one off stuff). Heee I can always be safe and say if you like BL but also like plot/action, I enjoy a lot of Danmei series (Mo Dao Zu Shi and Thousand Autumn is very good, I also really liked erha but that has some themes in it its always best to warn about, but its such a good rollercoaster ride of a book series.) Hee, also I really love Jujutsu Kaisen. BL? idk man i think there have been more implied/confirmed BL ships then any other so also good (jk but not jk on that comment...)

idk what's usually up your alley but i love jack jeanne so much. otome game with rhythm game bits in there too. the protagonist is invited to try out for an acting school and makes it in! however it's an all boys school, so she has to make it through the year without being found out as a girl. it handles gender stuff pretty well all things considered, and focuses on (literal) gender performance a fair bit. uhh i am very bad at talking about stuff i like lmao
